My name is Michael Schreier, and Stapley House is more than another business venture for me. It is an investment in the neighborhood where I live, work, and operate businesses every day.
I have worked in the hospitality industry since 2014, beginning behind the bar and building more than a decade of hands-on experience in restaurants, bars, guest service, and day-to-day operations. Today, I am a 50% owner of The Guadalupe on Main and a 30% owner of Buddha's Brew Cafe, both located in Mesa and within approximately half a mile of the future Stapley House.
I also live near Broadway and Stapley, just minutes from the project. This isn't a market I discovered on a spreadsheet or a neighborhood I'm trying to enter from somewhere else. This is my neighborhood.
I understand the people, the businesses, the challenges, and the potential of this part of Mesa because I experience it every day.
My goal with Stapley House is to build something that adds genuine value to the area—a place people are proud to have in their neighborhood and a business that can become part of the community for years to come.
My experience operating nearby businesses gives Stapley House an important advantage. I already have relationships with local customers, business owners, employees, vendors, and members of the Mesa community. I understand the realities of operating a hospitality business in this market, and I have a personal interest in seeing this area continue to improve.
I'm not simply investing in Stapley House. I'm investing in the neighborhood I call home.
For investors, that means the person leading this project isn't managing it from across town or learning the market for the first time. I'll be here—working in the neighborhood, operating businesses nearby, building relationships, and doing everything I can to make Stapley House a successful and lasting part of Mesa.
